This was my first go at making outfit GIFs. They’re pretty fun but I wish the images didn’t lose so much quality. I’ve had this dress for over a year – an easy wearing long-sleeved jersey dress is a trans-seasonal staple in my opinion. The looseness lends itself to being dressed up with a belt and heels or down as pictured for a casual Friday afternoon.

I’m spending mine catching up with friends, but afterwards I’m heading into the city to see OM. It’s been a good 12 months for gigs – in the last year I’ve managed to see a bunch of great international acts including Radiohead, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Earth. Sadly I’ve missed out on seeing Tool and APC (again) and Opeth, hopefully they’ll all tour again in Australia soon.

 NEW video footage of a strange light over Gladstone and Tannum Sands on Saturday shows the light flaring orange before returning to white.

Peter Harbrown shot the footage with his mobile phone.

He said he saw the light at 8.30pm, and “it definitely looked odd”.
